This display is only officially compatible with Macs that have the Mini DisplayPort connector. It uses mercury-free, energy-efficient LED backlight technology and an ambient light sensor that dims automatically to save energy and provide more comfortable viewing in less brightly lit rooms.

It’s got a heavy price tag, but for someone who sits and stares at a screen all day I only want the best! It sits about an inch lower and must be propped up to arrange the screens at similar heights. I couldn’t find an extension locally, so I ordered one online. A third-party converter must be used in order to use this display with older Macs.
